By bringing the most inspiring Roma inclusion projects in one shared place, the Roma Policy Lab, takes the much-needed cooperation to a new digital level.
"Nothing beats learning from experience", writes eeagrants.org in the news item: The ROMA POLICY LAB: a new digital home for inspiring Roma inclusion projects
In the end of 2022, the Roma Policy Lab was launched. The website aims to provide a space for promoting synergies and exchanging of best practices between Roma inclusion projects funded by the Grants in Bulgaria.
"Until now, mapping best practices and sharing insights across relevant actors who work on the topic could be a challenging process. From finding the right information to identifying relevant actors in the Roma field and exchanging information through the right channels," writes eeagrants.org in the news item.
The website is a joint initiative of Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria and the Bulgarian National Focal Point. They promote synergies by mapping of best practices on the website and digitally sharing their initiatives through the online portal.
"If an output or experience is not shared, it remains invisible - even if it is useful and precious," says Elitsa Markova, Fund Operator for the Active Citizens Fund in Bulgaria to eeagrants.org.
The website also contains stories, articles, projects and publications related to gender-based and domestic violence. This is categorized under the topic: Human rights and gender equality. Here you can, among other things, read more about "The value of bilateral cooperation regarding domestic and gender-based violence in Bulgaria" and the result of a research project where one of the objectives was to build a bridge between institutions and Roma communities at the local level and to help build trust between them.
